Vocation Story: I have felt an attraction to the priesthood from a young age, with this journey of discernment sprouting
from my first communion. In my first reception of Holy Communion, the Lord put this undeniable attraction on my heart to the priesthood which continued to foster throughout my youth into high school. Through serving the Mass, experiencing the Lord's love in the Holy Eucharist, and the example of various priests throughout my life, I recognized the beauty of the priesthood. Every time I thought of a vocation to the priesthood, I had great joy and peace, and I knew the Lord was gravitating me towards this destination. Finally, this all culminated during my junior year of High School during a retreat. While in adoration, the image of someone looking down at their hands bearing the stigmata appeared in my
head. I did not know the meaning of this, but later during the Mass I knew that the stigmata of Christ was present on the priest's hands as he elevated the Eucharist. I recognized those hands I was looking at in that image during adoration were my own and the Lord wanted me to be his servant, like that priest was.
