Vocation Story: I grew up in a big catholic family, so becoming a priest was always an option that was on the table. So, I guess I thought about it when I was younger but it was never really more then that. When I got a little older I was going around just feeling completely lost, not knowing what I was supposed to do or where I was supposed to go. I had no direction. I was going through the motions. I graduated high school still with no idea about what I was supposed to do, feeling totally lost. Eventually, I started taking my faith more seriously, more personally, and I matured and grew more in that time after high school, figuring things out with God, then I did almost the entire rest of my life combined. Eventually, God put something on my mind and heart, the clearest thing that God has ever given me, and there is no way that I could ignore that. I know for sure, right now, I am where God wants me to be. That is, at seminary discerning the call to the priesthood, and if he calls me to do something else later, then that’s what I am going to do, His will.
