Vocation Story: I was brought up in a small Catholic family in Lexington, Ky. Both of my parents are disabled and our life was often difficult as I grew up. It forced a reliance on God that today I could never live without, and was the foundation of our life as a family. I went to public schools where I argued my way into Catechesis and apologetics, and I was very active in the Youth Group at the Cathedral of Christ the King. I attended Eastern Kentucky University in 2014 and left in 2016 due to some family and spiritual difficulties. I worked as a full time screen printer for the next three years and worked and participated in every parish event I could get my hands on after that. I fell in love with the Church all over again and began to discern a calling to the priesthood in March of 2018 at a Diocesan Youth Retreat. I look forward to working with youth and the sick particularly as a seminarian and hopefully one day as a priest.
