Vocation Story: The first time I considered priesthood was in my senior year of high school but at that time I decided it wasn't for me. After high school I began college studying electrical engineering; after awhile I switched majors to elementary education. In between schooling I did a fair bit of job hopping, but nothing seemed to fit what I was looking for. Late in the summer of 2021, I began to get the feeling that I needed to look into priesthood again. As much as I tried to push that feeling away, I couldn't shake it. After talking with some great priests, I finally consented that the only way I would know was to enter seminary. So I applied and was accepted to the Diocese of Springfield.
