Vocation Story: My vocation blossomed at a very young age. The thought and idea of the priesthood always intrigued me, and I was dead set on that being my vocation to the priesthood. As I started to grow up, I threw the call aside, but God had other plans than what I wanted for my life. I began to feel more and more of a pull towards the priesthood as I got into my later teenage years. Through many retreats, homilies, priestly role models, and many other graces bestowed by God, I finally gave my “yes” to God and entered into seminary formation. One greatest realization of my calling had come from serving at the altar thus seeing the beauty of the liturgy and the Holy Sacrifice being made. The ability to minister to those around me through my parish and extracurricular activities helped me to see a glimpse of pastoral work for the kingdom of God and his pilgrim Church here on earth. Through prayer of the past and present I continue to find consolation in my call to the priesthood.
