Vocation Story: When I was a little boy I always thought the priest was cool. After the Saturday night vigil Mass, I would often go home and play mass and try to copy everything the priest did because I thought he was awesome and wanted to be just like him. My vocation later disappeared and I thought about being a football player or a musician but then in 8th grade, I had a friend, who is now a seminarian, that brought me to a retreat at Bishop Bruté and I fell in love with this seminary and all the guys who devoted themselves to discern God’s will. Eventually after going to Bishop Bruté days and many other discernment dinners with other guys from my diocese I started to feel a call to come and live and study at Bruté. I started the application process to become a seminarian in September and here I am today studying and discerning my call to the priesthood.
