Vocation Story: According to my parents, when I was about 3 I was riding in the car with my mom, and told her that "I hear Jesus telling me to be a priest." I said Mass as a kid, using Ritz crackers and juice for the bread and wine. I even received my own kids 'Mass set' for my First Communion. This desire for the priesthood stayed with me throughout Middle School High School. I involved myself with youth group and the Melchizedek Project, a young men's discernment group, through my High School years, and after visiting the seminary in the fall of senior year contacted my Vocations Director and applied to the Seminary. Seminary has been a terrific experience for me, and I have grown in so many different ways since arriving. Some of the best years of my life have been in the seminary, and I am excited to continue here as I discern a vocation to the priesthood for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
