Vocation Story: I have always felt called to the priesthood. The earliest call I remember was when I was 12 years old I felt the calling during Holy Mass. I did not think I was good enough for a call to the priesthood so I dismissed it. More recently at a Catholic Men’s conference I had a burning desire in my heart to bring people to Jesus Christ. When the priest said “We need good and Holy priest’s, my heart felt heavy and I started sobbing. I knew then that it was a true calling to follow in the footsteps of Christ. I started serving at Mass to test the waters, in a way and I absolutely loved it. I knew I needed to deny myself, in order to give myself completely over to our Lord and savior. I love our blessed Mother with all my heart and have a true devotion to her. I have to give God the opportunity to form me into what he has created me for. This will be my first year at seminary to discern what and who God is calling me to be.
