Vocation Story: I first felt that I might have a call to the priesthood in grade school when my parish priest asked the congregation if any of us might have a vocation to religious life or priesthood. It struck me then that God might be calling me to make that sacrifice, but I tried to ignore it through middle school and most of high school. When it came time to apply for colleges, the thought of priesthood popped back into my mind. I entered the House of Discernment in Evansville during my first year of college at the University of Southern Indiana where I more closely discerned God's will for my life. That year helped me to increase my trust in God and His plan for my life, which has led me to Bishop Simon Bruté Seminary where I hope to continue to grow in faith and knowledge of God's plan for my life.
