Vocation Story: Ever since I was a little kid, the idea of priesthood had always been in my mind. My brothers and I occasionally “played Mass” and I envisioned that I would be a priest when I grew up. But as I got older, into later grade school and all throughout high school, I started to push this idea out of my mind and very rarely considered this a possibility for my vocation. But as I began college and my prayer life strengthened, this idea of priesthood kept nagging at me. This calling kept coming back to my mind and started increasing in strength until the middle of the fall semester of my sophomore year I decided to stop ignoring this call and decided to take the next step and pursue if this is the vocation that God was indeed calling me towards. I finally decided to submit my will to God and let Him work through me. Throughout the second half of my sophomore year I went through the application process for the seminary and got accepted by my diocese and Bishop Brute Seminary in the summer of 2019.
